KV Photography | Mallory & Chase's Bella Collina Wedding

How did you both meet?

We met in vet school. He said he noticed me right away; I did not notice him, but I did stop to pet the service dog he brought to class.

How was the proposal?

Chase proposed to me at the beach in Jacksonville when we were walking our dogs. The dogs ran to me in order wearing signs “will you marry me”.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)

There wasn’t really a set theme for the wedding, we wanted everything to be elegant.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

The flowers at the wedding were my favorite element! I thought the arrangements were so beautiful.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.

My favorite detail were the cocktail napkins with our dogs on them.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

The most memorable part of the wedding was our first dance.

Please describe your cake (if any):

Our cake had three layers. First, the bottom layer had an overlay that matched the floral design on my dress. Then, the other two layers were plain and our dogs were on the cake as sugar molds.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

Don’t stress. It’s going to a beautiful day with your family and friends.

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?

I was not surprised on the wedding day, everything went well!

What one moment will last with you both forever?

What will definitely stay with us the most is that we felt so supported by our family and friends on our wedding day. Everyone was so kind and seemed to have a great time!

What song did you walk down the aisle to?

I walked down the aisle to “Can’t help falling in love”

What song played for your first dance?

Our first dance song was “Simply the best” – from the TV show “Schitt’s Creek”

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

We are excited to enjoy life’s adventures together. We’re best friends.

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?

We loved working with you both. You kept everything light and fun and took the most gorgeous photos!
