How did you both meet?

We met at Ace Café in Orlando while we were out with a group of friends in June of 2017. As the day went on, we knew we wanted to get to know each other better. There was an attraction and genuine feeling of wanting to connect further. There was an instant chemistry and fun factor that drew us together. We could look at each other and smile for hours!

How did your husband propose?

Kevin surprised me by going to Chicago, which was the first place we traveled to together.  He proposed at the Signature Room, on the 95^th floor of the John Hancock building with breathtaking views, where part of Our Love Story was written on the top of the menu – Love is Friendship on Fire.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc.)

Elegant, classy, sexy and fun.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

It would definitely have to be the overall beauty of the Alfond Inn setting.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.

The flowers, the dress & the vail, first & last dance, and of course the photography!  You guys are so artistic.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

For Kevin, it was Athena walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the first time. Also, we took a walk around the hotel at the end of the night, just the two of us, and soaked it all in. Along with some great dancing moments. The two of us doing the Jump around song in front of the Schilf monogram shining up on the wall.

Please describe your cake (if any):

Our cake was so delicious and beautiful. The flowers on it were gorgeous, definitely exceeded our expectations.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

Get started early.

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?

We knew there was a lot of love in that room, but we were still overwhelmed with it and also with all the positive energy. Another big surprise was receiving all that love through social media, so much love from everyone!

What one moment will last with you both forever?

So many good ones! First, seeing each other. Also, dancing to Heaven & Perfect. Cutting our cake to the song “Pour Some Sugar on Me”. The “Handshake” at cocktail hour and our walk at the end of the night.

Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?

The Ceremony pictures and the introductions into the reception. All the ones outside the Alfond before the Reception. Basically, all of them! We are super excited.

What song did you walk down the aisle to?

Bridal Chorus, Cain.

What song played for your first dance?

Heaven by Kane Brown.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

Being best friends sharing experiences and enjoying life together. “Having fun in a paper bag together” – from our wedding vows.  We finally know what true love really is.

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?

You guys are so organized and patient. Also, you both have a gift of being incredible, artistic photographers. KV definitely gets 11 out of 10 stars from us!
