How did you both meet?

Saveez and I met at a work function.

How did your husband propose?

He took me on a hot air balloon ride early one day, and had a few of our friends stand at the bottom with a will you marry me sign.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc.)

The inspiration was our cultures merging into one. Egyptian and Persian, like having the belly dancer and sofra table.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

My favorite design element was all the candles and the soft romantic lighting it gave the room.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.

Our favorite wedding details were having the Persian sofra (meant a lot to my husband), and wearing my sister’s veil that she wore on her wedding day.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Our most memorable moment was just walking down the aisle of the church together. Also, seeing all our friends and family there. It was great. Two cultures and two religions merging into one.

Please describe your cake (if any):

The cake was white and gold, delicious!! With my favorite ranuculus flowers and anemones.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

My advice would be to stay organized! Hire a great wedding planner and shop around!

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?

My biggest surprise was honestly how the day went as smooth as it did. Everything was on time and perfectly planned by Vangie.

What one moment will last with you both forever?

The moments that will last with us for forever were the speeches our siblings gave, and our grandmothers who are in their 90s meeting for the first time.

Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?

There are several moments we are excited to see, including the church ceremony and family pics, as well as our sparkler exit.

What song did you walk down the aisle to?

We walked down the aisle at church with a Ceremonial Church Hymn.

What song played for your first dance?

Our first dance was Ed Sheeran, How Would You Feel.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

I think the thing we are most excited about is traveling and enjoying each other before starting a family.

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?

We love KV! You both are so helpful and made us feel like family. I hope we can work together again in the future!!
