How did you both meet?

We met through a mutual friend at a house party.

How did your husband propose?

He proposed at Disney’s Grand Floridian hotel, in Orlando, Florida, against the famous Christmas tree with a bauble on the tree saying will you marry me. In addition, we also had our own private photographer capturing every moment.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc.)

We went for a very traditional Scottish rustic theme.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

Our table plan and our place centers; these were just exactly what I pictured in my head.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.

I loved the singer we had at our cocktail hour. Our guests loved that! Secondly, I loved the donut wall we had. I am a massive donut fan so it was a must for us! Also, my husband is a massive crisp fan so we had a crate of vintage crisps which our guests loved as well. 

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Definitely the ceremony, when we first saw each other.

Please describe your cake (if any):

It was a 4-tiered, simple white and pink cake with handmade flowers.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

Just enjoy it! More importantly, don’t let the stress take over!

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?

The fireworks we arranged were amazing! Better than I would have imagined.

What one moment will last with you both forever?

Having all our family and friends in one place. We will never have that again like we did on our wedding day.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

Enjoying our holidays and breaks away!

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?

They were so easy to get along with! Above all, they made us feel so comfortable. We aren’t really picture people but we were loving it by the end. Besides that, they made us laugh the whole way through which was great to capture. They are just the best!
