How did you both meet?

Kyle’s grandmother babysat me when I was little. He would visit his grandparents in Pennsylvania, from Florida, and I would be there. Eventually, we met back up at his grandparents 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Later on, I decided to attend college in Florida at UCF and the rest is history!

How did your husband propose?

He knew I wanted something private and our dog Ruby absolutely had to be there. He proposed in my hometown, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in a beautiful park with our dog Ruby there! It was so perfect!

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc.)

We always knew we wanted bold colors and a lot of glam!

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.

I loved how all the tables and decor fit together. Also, the gold from the chargers, chairs, and candles fit perfectly with the bold pink flowers. I wanted something that I had never seen at another wedding. This is when we found the champagne wall. This was a great and also original touch to our cocktail hour.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

The most memorable moment of my wedding day was walking down the aisle and seeing both Kyle and Ruby at the end! I am so happy that Ruby was a part of our special day.

Our cake had beautiful gold accents with hot pink flowers, and a lot of glitter!

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

I highly recommend hiring a good wedding planner and enjoy every minute of the planning process, because it goes by very quickly.

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?

It surprised me how smooth the day went! I was so worried something would go wrong, but if anything did, I didn’t know about it.

What one moment will last with you both forever?

Throwing a great party and being able to spend precious time with each other, along with our friends and family.

Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?

Without a doubt it would have to be our first look!

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

Continuing to live our lives together!

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?

First, we loved how comfortable you both made us feel! Throughout the day we were able to laugh and enjoy ourselves. It felt as if they were friends taking out photos rather than just photographers. They are photography experts and knew the best spots and ways to get the perfect photo! Thanks to KV, we will have amazing photos to remember this special day forever!
