How did you both meet?
We met in High School on a band trip back in 2007. After a couple of years being friends, we began dating :).

How did your husband propose?
We love to host game nights…and so we were playing a charades type game, when he got down on one knee!.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)
My wedding inspiration was French country.  I wanted simple décor, a venue that was beautiful on its own, and eye popping flowers. Most importantly, I wanted it to be intimate.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?
I loved the way my tables and flower runners turned out! Not only was it gorgeous for the guests to sit at, but it made a beautiful isle to walk down as well.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.
I loved every detail about my wedding, such as the plates that my mom found for each guest. But I also loved how the table runners appeared, my wedding invitations created by a good friend of mine, and the flowers that dangled under the gazebo outside. Each detail meant so much to me.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
Oh this is hard…we have waited 9 years for this day, so finally getting to walk down the isle and say our “I Do’s” and our vows are so dear to our hearts…But, the last dance was very special to us as well. It allowed us to slow down and take in everything.

Please describe your cake (if any):
We had a two-tiered hexagon shaped cake! The top half was my husbands’ smores cake and the bottom half was my flavor, white chocolate crème brulee (based off a cheesecake we get from one of our favorite restaurants back home). It was so delicious! Crème de la Cocoa did an amazing job!.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?
Check our Instagram for vendors! We found almost all our vendors through hash tags and can honestly say we are so blessed for each and every one of them.

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?
I have to say it was receiving a “something blue” gift from my parents during the first look with my father.  It was so unexpected and something I will cherish forever.

What one moment will last with you both forever?
We have to say the last dance is something we will both remember forever.

Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?
There are so many moments that we are excited to see! When you have good photographers it’s hard to choose one moment! 🙂

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
Finally being able to call each other Husband and Wife! It’s been a long time coming and we couldn’t be happier!.

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?
The absolute best thing about working with KV Photography is that you get two photographers that are both amazing with their skill as well as their personalities. We felt very lucky to have found you both and wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our day. You made us both feel comfortable which made for beautiful photography and we couldn’t be thankful enough.
