1. How did you both meet?

Online!

2.      How did your husband propose?

Our first date was at Disney World at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival. We took our first picture together at the German Pavilion. Matt surprised me by proposing in the exact spot where we took our first picture during the Illumination’s finale in front of our closest family members.

 3.      What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)

It was a perfect mix of our personalities – soft southern charm played up with masculine details.

4.      What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

I love how laid back and loose everything was – because that how we are. We don’t play by the rules and we take each other how we are – everything had a casual elegance about it and nothing felt forced and that is just who we are as a couple.

5.      Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.
My sister and I wore our late Mother’s wedding bands on matching necklaces. We carried her with us on my special day. Both of my parents passed away in my early twenties so we had two seats reserved for them – it was so symbolic to have their presence signified for all of our family.

6.      What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

My favorite part was during the reception just taking a moment to look around the room and see the faces of all of our loved ones. That love and support from all you hold close is so tangible in that moment and we will never forget it.

7.      Please describe your cake (if any):
We had a naked red velvet cake (oooh la la).

9.     Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

Hire a great Planner and Photographer. Your planner will make sure that your day is exactly what you want it to be and your photographer will capture all the details and moments in the most beautiful way possible. Trust me on this – it is so worth it.

10.  What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?
Just seeing Matt’s face at the end of the aisle. The way he looked at me was so overwhelming and it brought me to tears. I could not wait to marry him.

11. What one moment will last with you both forever?

Walking down the aisle as husband and wife – absolutely incredible feeling.

12.  Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?

All of them! But the first look was very special so I am excited to see how all of those pictures turned out.

13.  What song did you walk down the aisle to?

14.  What song played for your first dance?

“Perfect” by Ed Sheeran and Beyonce.

15.  What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

Building our lives together. I’ve always told Matt my favorite part of the day is those early morning hours before the sun comes up where it just us snuggling together before the day begins – I am so blessed to start every day of my life like that. So I can’t wait for each morning with him – a new day with him by my side. Whatever life throws at us we will always have each other.

16.  What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?
You both are so amazing. I loved how easy going and relaxing it was to work with you. You both created an environment where we could be ourselves and capture our love. It was effortless !
