Luxmore Grande Estate | Callie and Brendan | Orlando Wedding Photographer

How did you both meet?

Brendan & I met while attending The University of North Florida where we both participated in Greek Life. We first met during the summer of 2010 at a sorority sisters house. Brendan and his Fraternity brother were over as usual hanging out. It was then that Brendan found out that I was moving into the neighborhood next door to him. From that moment on we always seemed to be hanging out.

2.      How did your husband propose?
Brendan has a family house in Brookeville Pennsylvania that they visit every year during the summer. This past summer 2016 I was unable to go during the usual summer visit so Brendan had mentioned that we can make a fall trip up to see the house with his mother Janet who will be battening down the house for winter. He also mentioned that we can make a side trip to Niagara Falls, since it is only 3 hours away. We have talked about going over the years when we visit PA. So of course when he mentioned taking a vacation I was in!

One of our favorite TV shows The Office has a wedding episode where the main characters Jim and Pam run off from their wedding and get married at Niagara falls on the Maid of the Mist. So in great romantic fashion Brendan mimicked our favorite TV couple and purposed to me on the Maid of the Mist. He pointed to a building over on the Canadian side saying “what’s that” I intently looked all over and obviously did not see anything. I turned around to find Brendan down on one knee.

 3.      What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)

Pinterest always was giving me inspiration for my wedding day. I always knew I wanted a romantic wedding dress and our wedding venue perfectly matched that romantic classic feel.

I have to give credit to Pinterest. The tiles with Guests name and meal selection was all Pinterest with the help of my Circuit of course.
