How did you both meet?
We met through friends and family.
How was the proposal?
For me (Melissa) it was a surprise! We traveled to Cancun, Mexico. It was amazing, very lovely and thoughtful.
What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)
We both wanted a Semi Boho and Elegant look.
What was your favorite design element of your wedding?
We loved the chandelier and the sparkles.
Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.
We definitely had a lot of details throughout our day, but one of our favorites would have to be the portraits of our Grandmothers. We wanted to feel they were present.
Another detail we loved were our personalized ceremony fans. We thought it would be a nice touch to give people something they can use either to cover themselves from the sun or to use it if they are hot, and also something they can take with them as a memory.
Our late-night bites were also a hit! We wanted to include something that represents each other’s countries.
What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
Having all of our family together, being able to feel the love, and seeing them having fun the same way we did.

It was a multi-tiered cake with a flowing design with added greenery.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?
Take your time to go through all the details you want and create inspiration boards. Once you book your venue, the vision of your wedding will be better. Listen to vendor recommendations! Enjoy every little moment of the planning, take pictures for the memories, overall, have fun with it. We also used GuestPix to also see pictures from our guests POV.
What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?
The moment when the venue windows were opening while we were giving our speech.
What one moment will last with you both forever?
Every single moment of that day.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
Keep growing as a couple, growing in love, faith, success, and help make the other show the best version of themselves.
