How did you both meet?
An introduction through our mutual friend.

How did your husband propose?
It was a complete surprise!  He did it privately at our home and it was perfect!.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)
Elegant & chic – we wanted everyone to feel comfortable and wanted LOVE to be the theme.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?
Our color scheme and how every detail tied in with it.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.
We loved our memorial table – family is so important to both of us and to be able to recognize those we were missing from our big day was huge to us.  I think I found the idea while Pinteresting.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
Kyle’s is the moment we walked back down the aisle as husband and wife; I agree – but I also loved the speeches, including Kyle’s.  He blew me away.

Please describe your cake (if any):
Our cake was 3 tiered – the top was gold, middle white and bottom navy blue to match our colors; with fresh, blush colored flowers form our florist.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?
There are so many details to planning and most people think they are almost done once they book all the big vendors – my advice is to visualize your small details early and work on them a little at a time throughout the process – it will save lots of stress as you get closer to your big day!.

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?
Kyle’s biggest surprise was how smooth everything went; mine was Kyle’s speech – I was not expecting it and it was such a memorable, sweet moment.

What one moment will last with you both forever?
Just celebrating our marriage and the beginning of our lives together with all of the people we love the most.

Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?
The ceremony & details that we didn’t get to see on the day.

What song did you walk down the aisle to?
An instrumental of Begin Again by Taylor Swift

What song played for your first dance?
Say You Won’t Let Go by James Arthur

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
Starting our family.

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?
They were amazing! At any point in the night when we were hoping we could get a picture of a particular moment, either Ed or Val was right there already capturing it.
