How did you both meet?
We met our last year of college at Elon University.

How did your husband propose?
Connor planned an elaborate proposal at the Ritz Carlton at Lake Oconee during Thanksgiving time of 2016. He planned a whole spa day for my mom and I and got us a room to get dressed in before dinner with family. Before dinner we went for a walk and he had a pergola set up with roses, champagne and the most amazing proposal ever! He even hired a photographer who was hiding in the bushes and managed to then surprise me after with family who came from all over the east coast to celebrate!

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)
I have no idea how to describe my inspiration! I just like pretty things :).

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?
Can I say EVERYTHING? But honestly I think the setup of the ballroom was the true showstopper of the night along with all the beautiful flowers.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.
My favorite wedding details were the flowers and the reception room! The vision for the reception room was 100% Lisa Stoner but I loved the idea from the beginning 🙂 I knew from the start flower wise i wanted to incorporate some greenery and some blush flowers and the girls from velvet and twine did an amazing job!

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
We tried really hard to not leave each other very much and we are so thankful we experienced the whole night together :).

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?
Hire a wedding planner who will help you with vendor selection and one that will help your day run smoothly! Also first look was an amazing kind of last minute choice. We were so happy we got that time together and so many more pictures 🙂

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?
Hailey- how everything came together so beautifully

What one moment will last with you both forever?
Hailey- the time we spent together before the ceremony

Connor- when I said “Connor” at the top of the stairs for the first look

Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?
Connor- Groomsmen photos

Hailey- Pictures of the reception of people having fun! (We were so lucky to see all the BIG exciting pictures already and we are SOOOO happy with all of those 🙂 )

What song played for your first dance?
Brett Eldredge- Mean to me

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
Spending time in our new home and doing life together!.
