How did you both meet?

Christian and I met in the 7th grade. After that, I pushed his backpack but was too afraid to say actual words.

How did your husband propose?

Christian proposed at the top of the Orlando Eye wheel.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)

The two main things I would always tell my wedding planners (mom, aunts ,and family friend) is, first, “I just want everything to be a WOW factor, and second, I would say I want everything to be ELEGANT.” I think we all succeeded in that.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

My favorite design element was the flowers. They spoke so loudly but yet were so soft in color, especially the bridged flowers in the back.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.

Some of my favorite wedding details were the flowers. It was spring time and I didn’t want to mix the colors from different seasons and I felt like that showed throughout the entire day.

Another one of my favorite wedding details was the live band. We had a saxophone player (it  was a must for my husband who loves the SAX). I had never heard him play live but I remember saying ” I just want you to come and play the best cover songs you know during dinner” He played a song by Alicia Keys and our families went crazy for him. 

It’s hard to pick all my favorite wedding details because I liked all of them! But, I really put my thoughts into each step of the planning process from the invitations, menu, food, tables, the venue, and everything else.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

I fell like the whole day was so memorable. It felt like we were walking on clouds all day.

Please describe your cake (if any):

We had a beautiful 5-tier cake. We wanted a traditional and simple look with lace designs.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

I would tell them to take their time.  At first, Christian and I wanted to get married 4 months after we got engaged, but waiting the extra time was so worth it. I don’t think everything would have been as perfect as it was if we didn’t wait. Planning can be very stressful so having enough time to fall back on helps that process.

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?

I would have to say the first look of the venue after the ceremony. Even though you plan your own wedding, you don’t see everything together until the day of, hoping everything comes out the way you want. The feeling of seeing everything we planned come together, so beautiful and exactly the elegant look we were hoping for, was such an amazing feeling.

What one moment will last with you both forever?

I would have to say the amount of love we felt on that day not only from each other but from everyone who was there to celebrate with us.

What song did you walk down the aisle to?

Can’t help falling in love by Kina Grannis.

What song played for your first dance?

U move, I move by John legend and Jhene Aiko.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

We love traveling! We want to travel around the world with each other.

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?

We loved how easy it was to get along with you guys, being able to help us feel comfortable in front of the camera, how well you got along with the other vendors, and both of your personalities. You are truly such a nice kind hearted couple and so talented! We are forever grateful to you guys for capturing one of the most important days of our lives.
