How did you both meet?

Brennen and I grew up in the same town our whole childhood. It was not until I was a senior in high school and he was already gone to a university that we met for the very first time by mutual friends. From that point on, we were inseparable.

How did your husband propose?

Every year since Brennen and I started dating, we would go to California with his family during the summer. In those years, we would always go down to a spot on the beach and just hangout until sunset.  In the Summer of 2018, Brennen went to one of our favorite locations and got on one knee. Now the rest is history.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc.)

I wanted to go with a romantic theme. I liked the idea of lots of flowers and candles!

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

My favorite design element of the wedding had to be the two arches during the ceremony. I loved absolutely loved them!

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.

There were so many details, like the floral arrangements, lighting, etc., that I was in awe with that I cannot even choose one. I have to give all the credit to my wedding planner, Marylen Exposito, as she came up with all the ideas on my big day.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

The most memorable moment for me had to be the First Look. It was an intimate moment for both of us that we will never forget.

Simple but elegant. Also, the best strawberry cake I have ever had!

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

Planning for a wedding can be stressful. Make sure you have fun while doing it!

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?

Definitely the Hora Loca performers. Brennen and I had no idea that was going to happen. It was the cherry on top of a fun night!

What one moment will last with you both forever?

The moment we shared our vows together is something we will cherish forever.

Perfect by Ed Sheeran

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

The moment we are both looking forward to is growing in Christ together. With God, all things are possible so in believing this we know that we can do whatever we put our minds to.

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?

What we liked the most about working with KV was how personable they were. As soon as the day started there was just this feeling that we have known them forever and were comfortable with them from the get go. We believe this really helped a ton on our big day to relieve any stress that we had and just make us feel relaxed all throughout.
