Bella Collina Wedding | Morgan and Nick | Tuscany Inspired Wedding in Orlando

How did you both meet?

We met at Lake Sumter State College in a public speaking class. Our first assignment was to introduce someone in the class and we ended up getting paired together! That’s how it all started.

How did your husband propose?

We randomly decided to drive to Jacksonville one weekend to explore and shop. And while we were there he proposed to me right outside of the Tiffany store! (which is where our rings are from). Super spontaneous!.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)

We got married over Christmas time so we wanted the wedding to feel festive while not overdoing it. That’s what inspired our flower colors, theme and design.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

The flowers were my favorite design element of the wedding. I felt as though they were able to pull everything together.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.
One of my favorite wedding details was the accents of gold. I chose gold over silver because I thought it really made everything pop.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

My most memorable moment of the wedding day was seeing Nicholas during the first look. It was a mix of excitement and anxiousness.

Please describe your cake (if any):

Our cake was 4 tiers. It had two flavors. The first was carrot cake with cream cheese icing. The other was lemon with raspberry filling. It has a cream cheese frosting with flowers in between each tier as well as on top.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

Give yourself at least a year to prepare because you need time to see multiple vendors to find out who is the best fit for you. Also, get yourself a wedding planner, at least for the month of. They take away a lot of stress and make sure you have everything you need for your special day.

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?
My Uncle Rick and Aunt Karen surprised us with a limo to take us away

What one moment will last with you both forever?

Our first look is the one moment we will never forget.

Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?

I am most excited to see the photos of the ceremony in the photos.

What song did you walk down the aisle to?

A thousand years by Christina Perry

What song played for your first dance?

We are most looking forward to traveling and exploring the world together.
