How did you both meet?
Brandon and I met by friends. Our best friends were also friends and they set us up on a date. It wasn’t supposed to be anything serious, it was all for fun and to have a good time getting to know each other but we soon found out that we were falling for each other and I think you know the rest;) and to top it off, we both grew up in the same town and never even knew each other until after high school. I went to the high school I was zoned for while he went to a different high school to play baseball. So funny how we only lived 10 mins apart and never knew each other… but everything happens for a reason:)

How did your husband propose?

Brandon and I absolutely love the beach, he took me to the beach for New Year’s Eve 2015-2016. As everyone counted down from ten, he turned to me and made his speech and asked me to marry him and I said yes as the fireworks were going off. I never even saw one fire work that evening, I was too busy kissing him and looking at my beautiful new engagement ring!! :).

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)
Elegant, light, romantic but simple and sweet. Which I felt that entire day and night!!.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?
I loved the wine bottles brandon, my maid of honor Mackenzie and I made. I also loved how the drapery looked down at the isle!

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.
The wine bottles were something I had seen on Pinterest, so of course my best friend and I started drinking lots of wine but later we got lucky and knew a manager at Olive Garden who saved us over 300 bottles!!!.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
I honestly can’t pick just one. Definitely seeing my dad for the first time! (It had been 29 years since he saw that dress on my mom) so that was huge!! And I loved seeing him all dressed up. He looked so good! I’m definitely a daddy’s girl, I’m sure you both could tell during our dance:)

I also, will not forget those barn doors opening for me to walk down to Brandon. I couldn’t take my eyes off of him! It was magical for sure!!

Please describe your cake (if any):
We had a simple, two layer ivory cake with all sorts of different types of donuts around it. Absolutely loved it!!

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?
My sister told me to expect at least three things to go wrong, and she was right. Three things did but her telling me that made me stay positive for some reason. Not everything has to be perfect. At the end of the night, Brandon and I were so happy and so full of love from our family and friends that those three things became so little almost nothing 🙂

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?
That Brandon put cake in my face!! Lol. Definitely wasn’t planning that to happen but it was so fun!!

What one moment will last with you both forever?
Our last dance for sure. Hands down. I loved how we had our guests all exit and get ready for the send off and Brandon and I got to dance one last time to our song. It was very emotional and made a great ending to our night.

Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?
Oh my goodness, all of them. I can’t even pick one! Lol

What song did you walk down the aisle to?
Our dj played Cannon in D acoustic on the guitar, so sweet.

What song played for your first dance?
Like Jesus does by Eric church.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
Doing everything together, doing life as one. We can’t wait to start home projects now that the wedding is over, we are discussing babies in the future and just living! :).

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?
Everything. Their communication is amazing. Each of them are always capturing something, both are always thinking of the next photo to take, I definitely saw the passion they have for this. I loved them!!.
