How did you both meet?

We met at work in July 2012 but our relationship didn’t turn romantic until the Fall of 2013.

How did your husband propose?

Ryan proposed while on vacation in Costa Rica with our best friends around to witness. We had the best time celebrating before heading back to celebrate stateside with other friends and family.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)

We didn’t have a theme for our day but since we were in the mountains we wanted the colors to be earthy with some elegance mixed in.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

I think chivari chairs always make any event look elegant!.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them

We focused on the fun items. We always love any event with koozies, sandals for the girls for dancing later in the night and the CO2 gun and glow sticks made for the best party.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

The most memorable moment was the dance party at the end of the night and all the fun had by our guests.

Please describe your cake (if any):

Our cake was a 3-tier cake with horizontal stripes and greenery around the bottom of each tier.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

It’s not the most enjoyable process know that you plan a wedding from behind a computer screen but do your best to enjoy and know the day will be everything you want, even if it’s not :).

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?
The biggest surprise on the wedding day was how calm and fun the getting ready process was. I thought we’d both be nervous but we were just excited the day was finally here!.

What one moment will last with you both forever?

We’re so happy we decided to do the first look. It was a special moment with just the two of us we can always look back on.

Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?

I think we’re most excited about the calm photos of the two of us before the night got crazy!.

What song did you walk down the aisle to?

I walked down to “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with you” which was a cover by Haley Reinhart of Elvis’ song

What song played for your first dance?

Our first dance song was “I Don’t Dance” by Lee Brice. It was our song as a couple since we got together so we thought it was perfect for that day.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

We were most looking forward to the honeymoon and it was the very best time of our lives.

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?
We loved how comfortable they made us feel and went above and beyond to find great locations for all of our shots.
