How did you both meet? We met in college.

I went to his fraternity house to watch a football game and my friend introduced us.

How did your husband propose?

He took me to Anna Maria Island where we had our first date and proposed at the beach.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc)

We went for an elegant black and white vintage theme.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

The flowers. We did the flowers ourselves and had a lot of fun with it.

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.

The flower girls dresses and the ring bearer’s cart.  I couldn’t find any flower girl dresses that I liked, so I decided to make them. I tried to make them as over the top as possible. For the ring bearer we decorated a vintage goat cart with flowers and tulle because my little nephew wasn’t old enough to walk down the aisle.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Probably everyone actually dancing.  I feel that I haven’t been to many weddings where literally everyone danced, young and old.

Please describe your cake (if any):

I went for a 4 tiered white on white brushed embroidery cake.  I wanted it to look like vintage lace.

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

Start early, vendors and venues book up quickly!.

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?

I guess the biggest surprise is that there weren’t any big surprises. Everything went off without a hitch! It was nice how perfectly everything went.

What one moment will last with you both forever?

Right after the ceremony and right before pictures started, Tyler and I went into the sunroom of the house waiting for the rest of the wedding party to be gathered so that we could take pictures.  It was the first time we had a moment alone together and been able to see and talk to each other that day. We gave each other a hug and then both just started laughing. It was a mix nerves and excitement and the realization that we were officially married!.

Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?

All of them!.

What song did you walk down the aisle to?

Cannon in D

What song played for your first dance?

Mama Cass- Dream a Little Dream of Me

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

Our life together.

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?
You guys are great! We liked that you had already worked with my sister and brother in law so we already knew the amazing quality of your work.
