How did you both meet?

We met in Austin, Texas. My brother also lived in Austin at the time, and so did Bobby’s sister, and the two of them happened to match on Tinder. My brother wanted to make it group hangout, so the first meeting wasn’t so awkward. He invited me and my cousin to tag along for a UT football game. During the date, it was clear that Bobby’s sister and my brother had more friend vibes and not any romantic connection. However, Bobby’s sister kept telling me that her brother lives in Austin, and she thinks we would hit it off. She invited Bobby to meet us for dinner later that night and we hit it off right away. He got my snap chat the next day and we just started talking and hanging out, and the rest is history.

How did your husband propose?

We had recently moved to Florida a few months before, and some of my close high school friends and some of his friends from Austin got together for Memorial Day weekend 2020. We took my parents boat out to a sandbar and were all out playing beach games. At one point we needed to go fill up some of the cups with water for our gam. Bobby and I were walking to do that, and we looked down in the sand and saw a sand dollar. He pointed out there was another one in the distance so I ran up to grab that one too, and on the sand dollar I saw “Will you marry me” written on it. I was completely shocked and when I turned around Bobby was on one knee and all my friends and family were behind him.

What was your wedding inspiration? (think decor, overall theme and feel of the day, etc.)

I wanted the wedding vibe to feel country and bring back Bobby’s country roots and the place where we met, but also obviously have some Florida touches in there as well. I was embracing the whole rustic feel of the barn and went with that.

What was your favorite design element of your wedding?

I really loved everything about how the barn was decorated, but I have to say the flowers were my favorite part!

Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them?

I loved having the photo booth as something people could have fun with. We also really enjoyed how all the decorations in the ceremony and reception came together!

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

The ceremony with our pastor was very special to us. We had been doing premarital counseling with him for a few months, so he really got to know us, our relationship, and goals for our future. Also, seeing Bobby when I walked down the aisle was very memorable, and of course the daddy daughter dance was a hit as well.

Please describe your cake (if any):

We went with a basic 3 tier cake with classic flavors.

Can you please list your vendors:

Any advice for those planning their wedding now?

Don’t stress about the small stuff, it seems big when you think about everything, but if you take it step by step it all comes together just right.

What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day?

My dad is very athletic, so when he tripped on my dress at the ceremony was quite a surprise! Also, how smooth, and fast everything went by was probably the biggest surprise.

What one moment will last with you both forever?

When we saw each other down the aisle. Also, the entire day itself was so perfect for both of us that we didn’t want it to end.

What song did you walk down the aisle to?

Make you feel my love- Adelle

What song played for your first dance?

Shameless- Cody johnson cover

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

We just bought a house together, so we are really looking forward to decorating and live in that house and for all the milestones to come together as a married couple.

What did you like the most about working with KV Photography?

I loved how easy it was to work with you all. Bobby and I are not the easiest to get to stay still or be the center of attention for pictures, but you guys made it super easy and fun! It also felt super quick with you guys after the ceremony and looking back was special to just have those moments with each other before the craziness of the reception!
